The Gradient Mixers provides for the continuing mixing and delivery of solutions with different densities. Just pull the valve upwards to begin mixing.
The Gradient Mixers are available in autoclavable and disposable versions.
The autoclavable Gradient Mixer material is Ultem (Polyetherimide). Ultem is a tough, rigid, high strength thermoplastic that can withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures and repeated sterilization. The gradient mixer has a translucent / light amber color that allows direct observation of the fluids.
The disposable Gradient Mixer material is Durastar Polymer. This material has sparkling clarity, excellent toughness, and chemical resistance. This Gradient Mixer is sold individually packed and sterilized.
